Capitalizing on extensive knowledge and relationships in the gallery, auction house, and artist communities, Worth Art Advisory was founded in 2001 to bridge the gap between art collectors and the art world establishment.
Founder Candace Worth previously worked for the Contemporary Art Department at Christie's auction house as well as a blue-chip, contemporary art gallery in NYC and an internet-based art consultancy. She has lectured on issues related to the contemporary art market at the Rhode Island School of Design and various other art organizations, and serves on the board of the Drawing Center in New York City, the only fine arts institution in the United States to focus solely on the exhibition of drawings.
Worth received her bachelors degree in Art History from the University of Pennsylvania and studied at the graduate school of Art History at Columbia University.
